Welcome to our Microsoft Fabric Foundations course.

You've started on the path to becoming a Fabric expert! Whether you have never seen Fabric before, you've been keeping up to date on every new feature, or you're a Synapse or Power BI expert - this is the course for you to fill in and set the foundation for you to build upon.

Through this course we will introduce you to all aspects of Microsoft Fabric, the core concepts and items within Fabric, and give you the skills and information you need to build your own data lakehouse platform. Whether you are a Data analyst, a Data or AI Engineer, or one of the many other personas that interact with data in your organisation, this course is designed to give you a base understanding of Fabric’s capabilities, strengths and weaknesses, and help you find the right tools you need to make the most of this unified data platform.

Each section of this course will be led by a video explanation, including the background theory and a demonstration of any code. The course consists of seven core modules, each with a lab section to give you hands-on experience with Fabric and build your knowledge throughout.
