Setting up Databricks Community Edition
This course has been built to be as generic Spark as possible - but for the practical elements, we needed to pick an accessible platform for all attendees.
We have designed all demonstrations & hands-on exercises to work with Databricks Community Edition - this is a public platform for learning & trialling Spark and comes pre-loaded with many training datasets, which we make use of throughout the course.
The skills & techniques you learn through this course can be applied to any Spark-based platform, but to sign up with Databricks Community, follow the video below.
